The proposed work starts from the procession of Our Lady of Good Health, in Mouraria. The project consists of three parts: in the outside of the chapel a poster with the word Fragmento (Fragment) is the first object that maps a path, and leads the viewer into the space of the chapel. In this quiet space, of retirement, a photograph placed on the tiles documents a moment of the procession. A table gives access to a postcard with the title Fragmento - (Benformoso Street, Our Lady of Good Health, Procession, 11.05.14, 04:27pm, Lisbon). This postcard is a numbered multiple, which by proposing the possibility of being taken expands the work to other places. The three parts map the site-specific route, which inhabits the space of the Chapel of Our Lady of Health. And refer to the time and the space of the procession’s photograph, memory/consciousness of an instant in which past, present and future intertwine.
